Leading Ladies Night Out at Topgolf Set for April 28

FAIRFIELD, OH (February 15, 2022)—Cincinnati’s leading ladies are ready to shine for a night of fun and excitement while supporting the special needs community.

Leading Ladies Night Out, an evening celebrating female leadership in Greater Cincinnati, takes place on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Topgolf in West Chester. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields—a place where every individual with every challenge gets every chance to play and experience belonging.

Local 12’s host of Good Morning Cincinnati Sheila Gray and Amanda Brennaman, wife of Hall of Fame Cincinnati Reds broadcaster Marty Brennaman, will serve as celebrity hosts of the event. Leaders and supporters of female leadership throughout Greater Cincinnati are invited to join Gray and Brennaman for a fun night of Topgolf gameplay, food and drink, and networking.

“The Nuxhall and Brennaman names and families will forever be linked together because of the 31-year friendship that Marty and Joe shared,” says Amanda Brennaman. “Joe’s foundation is very special to our family, and Leading Ladies Night Out is a perfect opportunity to start engaging more women leaders in the good work being done in our region. As a new golfer myself, I’m excited to play the game I love while meeting and hosting some of Cincinnati’s best women leaders.”

Gray is the 2019 winner of The Joe Nuxhall Humanitarian Award presented by The Nuxhall Foundation, and a dynamic presence on the morning airwaves of Cincinnati television news. Gray has been a prolific supporter of The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields and its special needs athletes.

“From the news desk, I have a chance to report so many good stories about dynamic women leaders in Cincinnati who are making a great impact on our region,” says Gray. “I’ve also been fortunate to see so many good stories unfold at The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields through the courage and spirit of the amazing community there. Leading Ladies Night Out is a chance to weave all those stories and people together to do something special for the special needs community.”

Leading Ladies Night Out is a new-concept event hosted by The Nuxhall Foundation, and the organization hopes to recognize the women who have made many important contributions to the success of The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields.

“Sheila and Amanda have been tremendous advocates for our cause, and we’ve been blessed by their generosity and kindness,” says Kim Nuxhall, President and Board Chairman of The Nuxhall Foundation. “There are many important women at the heart of the good work being done at The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields, and we want to give them a night to shine and celebrate together.”

Tickets for Leading Ladies Night Out are available for $150 per individual, or $900 for a full Topgolf bay (which accommodates 6 attendees).
