Chrome, Community, and Compassion Return for the 12th Annual Cruise In For Kids Car Show at Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields

FAIRFIELD, OH (June 18, 2026)— Start your engines and mark your calendars! The 12th Annual Cruise In For Kids Car Show is rolling back into the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields on Sunday, June 28, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., bringing together incredible vehicles, live entertainment, delicious food, and a whole lot of heart.

A fan-favorite of the Greater Cincinnati car community, The Cruise In For Kids Car Show raises funds to support the ongoing mission of The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields. Over the previous decade, the event has raised more than $200,000 to support the athletic and recreational experiences provided to the special needs community by The Nuxhall Foundation.

“We continue to be so grateful for the championship crew of volunteers who plan and host this event every year, which makes a big impact on our mission,” said Kim Nuxhall, President and Board Chairman of The Nuxhall Foundation and The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields. “This is a team of volunteers that truly fires on all cylinders, and they’re fueled by hearts of gold. The funds they raise with this event help us to provide big-league opportunities for our athletes with exceptionalities, and we can’t wait to see another big crowd this year.”

Registration for participating cars, trucks, and motorcycles is $20, and general admission to the event is free. Last year, more than 200 vehicles were featured during the event. Car enthusiasts of all ages are invited to admire an impressive collection of classic cars, hot rods, muscle cars, trucks, and specialty vehicles while supporting a meaningful cause.

Throughout the day, the event will also feature music, raffles, door prizes, and a split the pot contest with all proceeds benefitting the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields. Food from Skyline Chili, Chester’s Pizza, Neal’s Barbecue, and Flub’s Ice Cream will be available for purchase throughout the event. Joey The Can-Do Kangaroo, the mascot at The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields, will also make an appearance with copies of the companion children’s books and Joey stuffed plushes also available for purchase. The event will also feature live music from Fifth Crow beginning at noon. The Skidmore Sales Mini-Golf Club, a wheelchair and walker accessible 18-hole course, will be open for public play throughout the event. A raffle featuring a variety of prizes will be available throughout the day, along with two split the pot drawings.

A record number of corporate and community sponsors signed on to support this year’s event. NAPA and D&S Auto Parts return for their fourth year as the trophy sponsor for the event, along with a list of more than 20 dedicated pit crew sponsors who help to maximize the event’s impact.

“This one is the perfect combination of fun for the whole family, and the perfect way to show support for our mission to create unique, life-changing experiences for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities,” says Nuxhall.

The 12th Annual Cruise In For Kids Car Show opens for registration at 9am (no early registration permitted) on Sunday, June 28 at the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields (4850 Groh Lane in Fairfield). The first 100 entries will receive a complimentary dash plaque. Registration closes at 12pm. Judging will take place from 12-3pm with trophies awarded to the top 40 entries in a variety of different categories at the conclusion of the show. The event will take place rain or shine. About The Nuxhall Foundation

The Nuxhall Foundation is the legacy foundation for former Major League Baseball pitcher and longtime Cincinnati Reds broadcaster, the late Joe Nuxhall. The Nuxhall Foundation carries forward three important legacy projects. A central project of The Nuxhall Foundation is The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields—an entirely accessible baseball and recreational facility where every player with every challenge gets every chance to play. Historically, nearly 300 athletes with physical and developmental disabilities aged 4 to 80 participate in programs at the Miracle League Fields. The Joe Nuxhall Memorial Scholarship (in conjunction with the Fairfield Community Foundation) provides more than $40,000 per year in scholarship money to student athletes at all 14 Butler County high schools. Very soon, the Joe Nuxhall Memorial Scholarship will cross the million-dollar mark in scholarship money awarded. The Joe Nuxhall Character Education Fund pitches good character to young leaders throughout Greater Cincinnati by delivering and supporting programs that stress the importance of integrity, humility, respect, and kindness. In 2024, The Nuxhall Foundation launched a $12 million capital campaign to construct The Hope Center, a year-round recreational facility for athletes with special needs that will help to create the world's most comprehensive athletic campus for individuals with disabilities.
