Fall 2026 Youth League Season Registration Opens

FAIRFIELD, OH (June 5, 2026)—Ready for “Fall Ball?”

 

Registration for the Great Miami Valley YMCA Youth League’s Fall 2026 season at the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields is now available. Registration is open until July 12, but will close early if capacity is reached. The season begins play on Saturday, August 22, 2026.


 

“We have seen such tremendous growth in our youth leagues thanks to the leadership of the Great Miami Valley YMCA and the dedication of our volunteers,” says Kim Nuxhall, President and Board Chairman of The Nuxhall Foundation. “We love getting to welcome and serve new families who join our leagues, and the Fall season is a great way to get a few more hits in before we’re enveloped by winter!”

 


Leagues at The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields are managed and operated by partner organizations and a committed group of volunteers. Since the opening of The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields in 2012, the Great Miami Valley YMCA and Therapeutic Recreation for the Disabled (TRD) have served as the providing partners for the youth and adult leagues respectively.

 

Games for the 2026 Fall Season will be played on Saturday mornings (specific times to be determined). The season will play every Saturday morning through October 3, 2026.


 

All-stars at the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields get the chance to “round third and head for home” on a beautiful, custom-designed, synthetic surface, which makes play accessible for individuals with special mobility or developmental needs. The league is instructional and focused on giving all players the opportunity to play, grow, and experience a sense of belonging.

 

“Our partnership with the Great Miami Valley YMCA and TRD has allowed us to better serve more players of all abilities, and we are so grateful for their leadership,” says Nuxhall.

 

To register a player for the Great Miami Valley YMCA Youth League, please visit www.nuxhallmiracleleague.org/registration. Prospective youth league players must register by July 12, 2026 for the upcoming season, but players are encouraged to register immediately in the event capacity is reached.

 

Great Miami Valley YMCA Youth League Information:

·       Fall 2026 Season: August 22 – October 3, 2026

·       Games played on Saturday mornings (specific times to be determined)

·       Registration deadline: July 12, 2026 (or once league reaches capacity)

·       Player registration fee is $25 (Need-based scholarships are available)

·       All players receive a hat, t-shirt, and complimentary membership to the Skidmore Sales & Distributing Mini-Golf Club.

About The Nuxhall Foundation

The Nuxhall Foundation is the legacy foundation for former Major League Baseball pitcher and longtime Cincinnati Reds broadcaster, the late Joe Nuxhall. The Nuxhall Foundation carries forward three important legacy projects. The Joe Nuxhall Character Education Fund pitches good character to young leaders throughout Greater Cincinnati by delivering and supporting programs that stress the importance of integrity, humility, respect, and kindness. In 2024, The Nuxhall Foundation launched a $12 million capital campaign to construct The Hope Center, a year-round recreational facility for athletes with special needs that will help to create the world's most comprehensive athletic campus for individuals with disabilities.
