FAIRFIELD, OH (May 24, 2023)—This coming weekend, as we head toward Memorial Day, we want to be incredibly intentional to REMEMBER- to honor and remember all military personnel who have served and sacrificed. We invite you to join us for WE REMEMBER WEEKEND at The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields.
Join us on Friday evening, for our Therapeutic Recreation For The Disabled Inc. Adult League games at 6pm and 7:30pm OR on Saturday morning, for our Great Miami Valley YMCA Youth League games at 9:15am and 11am.
⚾️We’re asking everyone to wear RED, WHITE, and BLUE!
⚾️We will have veterans throwing out the ceremonial first pitch and performing the National Anthem. We will also recognize all veterans and those serving who are in attendance.
⚾️We also have an incredible opportunity to give back, with empathy and gratitude. We are asking those attending, if possible, to bring a donation for the Cincinnati VA Medical Center’s Food Pantry, which serves on average 150 veterans each month, who are navigating food insecurity. We will have bins, gathering peanut butter, Mac-n-Cheese, and boxed cereals.
