HYUR Staffing Services Supports Nuxhall Miracle League as Official Food & Beverage Sponsor

Updated: Apr 25, 2022

FAIRFIELD, OH (April 25, 2022)—Get your hot dogs here, thanks to HYUR!

HYUR Staffing Services has entered into an exclusive 3-year partnership to become the official food and beverage sponsor of The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields. The partnership launches with the Spring 2022 season in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of the Nuxhall Miracle League Fields.

“Since our opening, one of our goals has been keeping the prices of our concession offerings at an affordable level for the players and families we serve,” says Kim Nuxhall, volunteer CEO and President of The Nuxhall Foundation. “This new partnership with HYUR Staffing Services, a company with true heart, keeps that dream alive.”

As a result of the partnership with HYUR, spectators and families at the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields will now be able to purchase any concession item—including hot dogs—for $1 or less. The partnership also helps the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields fund costs related to concession operations, like a food and beverage operating license through the Butler County Department of Health.

“HYUR is honored to partner with the Joe Nuxhall Foundation,” says Ebow Vroom, President of HYUR Staffing Services. “Since our founding in 2014, HYUR continually seeks ways to bridge the gap between our community that we provide recruiting service and our internal drive to deliver impactful community involvement.”

Based in Cincinnati, HYUR is a privately held, Certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) staffing firm predicated on meaningful relationships and long-lasting partnerships. HYUR specializes in healthcare, including nursing and allied health professionals, and manufacturing, including engineering and skilled trade professionals and industries respectfully. HYUR’s commitment, since its founding, is to simplify the job selection process with candidates, and to streamline the hiring process for employers.

“As a full service, Minority Business Enterprise firm, one of HYUR’s core beliefs is ‘Sankofa’: to know where you are going, you have to know where you come from. We come from a community that supports our company, and I am proud to be a part of HYUR’s team lead group, ‘A HYUR Calling’, where we consistently seek ways to give the support back the region. With The Nuxhall Foundation, HYUR will be answering its higher calling for multiple years. We look forward to growing and evolving with the organization to make a substantial impact within the region.”

More than the financial support, members of the team at HYUR Staffing Services will volunteer their time and talent in the concession stand and as Miracle League Buddies, an extension of their commitment to service throughout the region that HYUR leadership values and promotes.

“What we eat at a baseball game is an important part of the gameday experience for our players and their families,” says Nuxhall Foundation Executive Director Tyler Bradshaw. “HYUR continues to show our local community why they are a values-driven company by stepping up to the plate and helping us enhance the Nuxhall Miracle League Fields experience for those individuals we serve.”

The Nuxhall Foundation is the legacy foundation for former Major League Baseball pitcher and longtime Cincinnati Reds broadcaster, Joe Nuxhall. A central project of The Nuxhall Foundation is The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields—an entirely accessible baseball and recreational facility where every player with every challenge gets every chance to play. More than 200 players between ages 4 to 78 participate in programs at the Miracle League Fields. For more information, visit http://www.nuxhallmiracleleague.org.
